LELO 2026: The Future of Intimacy
Tracey contributed the futurist perspective to LELO’s 2026 report, The Analogue Counter-Movement: Redefining Intimacy in a Mixed Reality World, exploring how AI and robotics are reshaping desire, privacy and human connection.
For the report, Tracey developed the concepts of Saturated Intimacy and Situated Intimacy to describe two emerging futures. Saturated Intimacy is always-on, digitally assisted, personalised, trackable and increasingly synthetic. Situated Intimacy is embodied, private, mutual, imperfect and unrecorded.
Together, the concepts express a central proposition: as technologically mediated connection becomes more abundant, protected human presence becomes more valuable.
The work was featured in a substantial interview with la Repubblica and covered internationally by SheKnows, Telegram.hr and Lider Media.
